Why do coaches not empty the bench in a blowout?

Amazing... Watching the Loiusville game....LV up 25, and finally Pittino feels, with 19 seconds left, that it is safe to pull his starters.

Is Pitinno just a dick, or do all teams in the NCAA act this way when blowing out their opponent?

So all the kids can say they played in the NCAA tourney--as it goes on games get tougher and maybe they won't be able too?

Caliperi has always done it too. I always cringed as a fan with good teams bc of being afraid a good player would go down with a season ending injury when up 20. I think it's horrible and stupid to put your good players in jeopardy when the game is clearly in hand.

I agree. Up 25 and coaches can't even let their bench play 2 minutes? Really? They have to wait until there is 19 seconds left, because they don't think their scrubs can hold a 25 point lead until there is 19 seconds left?

Crazy...
