If Wisky/OSU/PSU were in the SEC west this year they would have gone 4-4 best case. On a year to year basis they would be 5-3/6-2 (not PSU they have been pretty down lately)

Like the moral victories I'm seeing of UF "barely squaking by" pennstate. Lions are really proud of hanging with that terrible gator squad. I think Boom and Weiss (if he really goes there havent seen an official word) will get UF back to being competitive.

Dooley's LSU debacle and playcalling vs. UNC give me serious doubts about him being able to bring that team back to upper tier. Don't really know what's goin on in Athens either

Nobody in the SEC West is goin anywhere. Conference is gonna be putting 6-7 strong teams in the bowls every year for a while and 3-4 that don't belong in a bowl but may still get a Win.

As far as "mismatches"... Technically Sparty was tied for the #1 in the B10 but tiebreaker took them down to #3. Bama was #4 in their Division and #5 Overall. So the #5 team in the SEC being a DD Favorite over the #3 in the B10 says enough right there. Maybe some B10 programs should get better so they have more good teams to represent them and the SEC doesn't have to assrape their "Lowly #3 seed". :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

As "down" as everyone has ragged on the SEC for being this year... one division may produce a 5-0 bowl record. and pending a game where the SEC #10 seed is only a 3 point dog to the BEast #3... the SEC could legitimately go 7-3 in an extremely "down year"... so would that make it a down year in college football or... what am I missing here?

your not missing anything, SEC should just play a nfl schedule so they play teams at their level i guess:shrug:

every person on here prety much has said that the SEC is the better conference the last 7-8 years that is a no doubt. you recruit more speed and better athletes and that shows with how ya whoop up on us inthe bowl season. i dont think anyone was arguing that fact. not sure what your confused about you guys are most solid conference top too bottom.

anyways, good luck too your tigers it should be a fun game too watch regardless of outcome. i know a lot of ppl arent giving the ducks much of a chance, but they are one of the few teams that can honestly say they have as much sppeed as SEC teams, and as many athletes. i am interestd too see if coach cizik is going too do what some of the other ball coaches have done and have guys fake injuries too slow the tempo...we shall see

Addict if you haven't said the SEC is down this year you'd be in a very small minority on this site as well as the other capping board I visit regularly. Probably seen double-digit threads called "whats wrong with the sec this year" "sec is so down" etc etc. I was just pointing out to the people on here saying the SEC fans talking about our conference being strong this year calling them idiots and crazy... are 3 games away from needing some Cavenders on their crow and eating up.

Only reason I singled out Big10 in my post was b/c they were the first conference fanbase to do the majority of the trash talking when the SEC (east) opened 0-3. And then Saturday morning happened it was just kind of ironic.

Auburn could easily lose to Oregon, although I don't see it happening and will be going large on my Tigers, if anyone's defense should be used to going fast paced, practicing against our offense should have them ready. Personally think it will be 49-41 Alllbren Tigahs

tlank ya i wasnt tryin to sound like a dick about it i just always hear about how the big ten sucks and it gets old ecspecially when it is true:facepalm: ... but on the flip side ya i have seen threadds stating the same shit about the SEC being "down". Well if they are in a down year, god that is scary too think of them in a good year with how they have been dominant this year like always. as much as it pains me too say it, i dont see the power shifting anytime soon. They just keep recruiting speed and talent, and consistently nail the big time recruits. the big ten needs too step up the recruiting game if we ever wanna compete....

as far as the score in the champ game, well i have a ton of points too so maybe over is the safe play and just root like hell for points!!!

GL too ya Tlank

Definitely took my SEC glasses off when I saw a few sharp guys on here taking OSU and hopped on board. Glad I'm on the right side of the fix so far cause somebody has GOT to be paying these hog wrs to drop some of these passes...kinda silly at least 14 points left off the board. Want my -3.5 to hit but want a good game at least
