Hokie Fan - you are so far gone. When you intimate that Alabama is as good or better than USC, please give me your reasons why.

USC could have scored 100 on Arkansas as Leinart only threw 28 passes and Bush only carried the ball 8 times and Carroll called off the dogs yet USC 2nd and 3rd string units scored on Arkansas 1st string D.

The following week after USC hung 70 on Arky, Arkansas outgained Alabama and ran for about 250 yds before losing a close game. And of course 2 weeks ago Alabama smoked Florida.

So please explain why you believe Alabama is on par or better than USC. I know that it isn't always fair to compare like this, but the stats are so one sided, I can't wait to hear your analysis.

Texas will not make it to the NC game. The big 12 looks like they are down overall and will not fair well with their strenght of schedule. Ohio State loss to Penn State will not help either. Texas will be the cream of the crop of the big 12, but OU not fairing well the past 2 years will hurt them.

if mack brown and deloss doss can get texas to jump cal last year after both teams win their final game and worm their way into the rose bowl.....I GUARANTEE they make the bcs game if they are undefeated this year.

I will go ahead and concede that IF Georgia goes undefeated along with Texas, USC, and VTech then we will (and probably should be) on the outside looking in.

Until we have a playoff system, we will talk ourselves blue in the face. VTech will be the team with the biggest beef.

I don't care what they have done the past 2 years. Since when did last year count in any other sport? Did the Red Sox get a bye in the first round of the playoffs because they did so well last year? USC plays in a weak, weak conference where no one outside of USC plays any defense. I watch how USC scores in these 2nd half comebacks and it makes me laugh at how easy it is. It looks like high school defensive backs trying to cover Jerry Rice. And USC should get a free pass year-in and year-out because they dominate this PATHETIC conference? That is complete horseshit! I don't care how bad they beat Arkansas. Anyone can run up the score against an inferior opponent if they leave their starters in and keep throwing TD's against 2nd and 3rd string defenses.

USC plays a schedule of pussies, in a tired non-competitive conference.

Also, if Texas is soooo much better than VT, and their schedule is soooo much tougher than VT, please explain to me how Texas is still behind VT on ALL 5 computers used by the BCS???

Do you think they will move up by beating #13 Texas Tech and #24 Colorado, if VT beats #14 Boston College, #7 Miami, and then #4 FSU in the ACC championship game???
