I dont see LA going down 0-2 headed back home...... why doesnt the NBA just halt the Finals and give Phil the trophy? Where did ANYONE see the Lakers outplay or deserve to win game 1? Why cant the Celts just be good enough to test this team......Lakers 0 for 3 so far versus the Celts.....and KG voided Gasol being on the court, Kobe COULD possibly EXPLODE....but the KEY is going to be HELP.....he didnt get any from the usual suspects...Gasol,Odom, and Fisher....he may not get any tonight as those guys were outplayed by their opponents, I just dont see the LAKERS are way better picture everyone is painting, maybe tonight changes that...but the Celts beat up on the same Western Conference teams that the Lkaers did ALL YEAR as well......laying bets because the "Lakers are Gonna WIN" may cost bettors alot of money waiting for them to win the finals......Experience and Determination is what picked up 66 wins this year, and hustle and being physical is what won game 1......CAN THE LAKERS PLAY THAT STYLE OF BALL?? BETTER YET CAN THE LAKERS PLAY DEFENSE?? WE KNOW THE C's CAN. Team Defense again tonight helps the C's get over the hump IMO.....thanks for lending an ear:SIB

EXACTLY, Celts just to physical and have too many bodies to spread out on the boards. KG didnt even attack the rim in game 1 in the 2nd half and they STILL got outrebounded by 10 rebounds

No one said LA outplayed BOS in Game 1. It was even thru 3 qtrs, more or less, and Boston dominated in 4th.

I think Phil is a great coach and will make necessary adjustments. Kobe played awful in 4th (as well as on bench too long) and should come back strong. Of course he needs help, but there is a lot of help to go around.

No lock tonight either way, but Lakers have a great chance to bounce back. Not a must-win for them, but believe me Phil doesn't want to make Game 3 their whole season.

Best coach in history, best player in league in a bounce back game. Weird line movement. Give me Lakers fairly big. 6 units.

And why is the line LAL min 1.5.....? Bos was min 3 in the 1st game and an easy cover. Now they start it at a pick and now its at min 1.5?

They are way more physical than LA

Kobe will go off tonight imo for at least 30--he was not on until midway through the 2nd last game but i think he takes more shots earlier tonight and tries to carry his team...

I'm not saying its a trap, just saying it looks like vegas is begging for Boston money. Which of course means, play LA.

Also, Boston was not an "easy cover". It was very much in doubt until last 7-8 minutes of game.

You are correct in saying it wasnt an easy cover, but with 77% of the public BETTING Lakers and the line moving as it did,hmmmmm. I wouldnt think they want Celts money...Line rising due to ALOT OF BETTING ON THE LAKERS, ALOT OF LAKERS BACKERS, KOBE THIS KOBE THAT......THE TRUTH will be told tonight:00hour

The line is Boston +1 Because everyone is on the Lakeshow.. The public, and heck even the service tally was 43-12 Lakers. Everyone is going to be on the Lakers, and the books knew it so why not give them a bad line? Boston wins tonight, and I will take the great line

I go to a couple sites to get info, and both sites show fairly even money on both sides.

Its a very critical part of capping...finding where the money is....but again, we aren't allowed to post the best way to find that info. So you often get posts that say "public is all over...." but nothing to back it up.

Like I say, for me its hard to know what is accurate about which side the "public" is on.

After Game 1, I would have thought everyone was ready to bet the Lakers. But what my sources said was fairly even money, so the line movement made me want to LAL even more.

I understand not being able to post sites here, but maybe we could get a thread going about "public betting stats" and let the moderators, etc. determine if we can post some relevant sites.

Anyway, just thought the line was too low, money even, and slightly weird line movement. So, after a big day yesterday (belmont), I loaded up on Lakers.
