Why is it the public and media HATE Barry Bonds so much ?

This man is about to break the BIGGEST record in MLB history and he is being treated like a criminal. Very sad to me. Even if he did juice it was not his entire career. I am sure every single MLB player has done something illegal in their own career.

I agree with you. What pisses me off alot is Sammy Sosa. He is nearing his 600th homerun and NO ONE EVER talks about how this piece of shit got caught cheating in front of the whole world with that corked bat. He was also obviously juiced up also like ALOT of other players, but no one ever says shit about Sammy. I have nothing against Bonds myself. What about Luis Gonzales, how many homeruns did he hit that one year and in that 3 year span, cmon

Maybe it's because he distains the public and the media so much, and always has. His arrogance showed early on in saying that he grew up in a baseball family and understands the game and others don't. He demanded special favors (like the leather chair in the clubhouse) which his team mates couldn't have. And of course "roid rage" has always been a common experience in the world of the WWE.

Maybe it's just the way the world works...what goes arround comes around. If you reap the results of what you sow, then maybe he is just receiving back what he has given out? Anyways, he is a very unhappy man and it is too bad that people bear him so much ill-will. :shrug:

Article in todays Chicago Sun Times on Sosa and how nobody, especially on his own team, knows he exists.

Hope they both publicly go the way Alzado did. So there existence could serve some purpose to keep others from doing the same.

He was in town for the Homerun thing and he wouldn't sign anything either
