I once was in Acapulco at the Pier Marques resorte that is near by The Princess hotel for those who have been in acapulco and it was ehen he change teams from Pitrtsburg to SF. I know he was a great player but e was not even near the star that is now.
Well , no one at the hotel recognized him just like 5 americans that they wer chatting with him in the lobby. I went up to him and asking for his autograph and he told me no. because he did not want anybody to disturb him.... ****ing asssshole, no one in mexico knew him but me, beacue I am a real baseball fan, he should have been proud of himself that in another country someone knew about him don`t you think so.
I did not disturb him at all in any way, he ended signing the piece of paper that I found but I mean he was not the star that he was today.
A friend of mine found Manny Ramirez in Argentina and he was awsome to him why Barry can not be as him because he is an asshole

I would love to see Bonds have that maple bat taken away from him and see how many homeruns he hits then. Pine and maple are two very different woods. I think he is the first guy to use the Maple bat. Try driving a nail thru a piece of maple.
If you are over 21 and are still asking people for their autographs they should get pissed at you. Leave them alone, all they are is a bunch of guys that can play a sport better than you. Give me a scientist that cures cancer and i might take his autograph. These idiots i just can't believe people besides kids ask them for them. Maybe a super model that will give me a glance at her tits? Grown men bothering other grown men to sign a piece of paper is assine. I got one in my whole life and it was Aarons when i was about 14 and when i look back at it i get embarrassed. Don't even know what i did with it.
This statement is SO true.... I remember being at a Pirates game back in the early 90's and after the game people usually hung around the players parking lot looking for autographs....when Bonds came out....there must have been 20 kids jumping up and down yelling "Barry! Barry!"....I'm talkin kids maybe 8-12 years old holding baseball cards, caps, whatever....hoping their hero would sign his autograph.
That a$$hole just looked at those kids....rolled his eyes and got in his car and left..... ever since that... I hoped the prick had a career ending injury every game after that.
Cool thing that day was Dave Dravecky probably stood there 30 minutes signing autographs and his 2 sons (they must have been around 10 years old at the time) right behind him JUMPING UP AND DOWN ON THE HOOD OF HIS 100K PORSCHE yelling "c'mon dad...c'mon dad". Dravecky turned around...saw them trashing the Porsche hood and never batted an eye.....:shocked:
I was like 16 years old at the time , and that was one in a life time to ask for his autograpgh for me living in mexico.
