I too amcurious as to why only2.5....maybe minny is better than we think and vegas knows this. Wilson is a gamer, seattl has the better coach and is home in prime time....kinda fishy. Gut reaction is seattle, but i'm indecisive. Seems similar to ne last night, and we know how houston won handily

1. playing the Vikings who only give up 18 points a game.

2. they are both 1-2 vs the top 10

3. Russell Wilson & Co. are just 3-2 straight up and 1-4 against the spread in the Pacific Northwest this year with a minus-12 scoring differential, which includes a one-point win over winless Cincinnati and an overtime victory over turnover-prone Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. courtesy ESPN+

4. The Vikings enter Week 13 tied with Packers atop the NFC North at 8-3 while boasting a scoring differential of plus-84 (fourth in the NFL).courtesy ESPN+

the other side of the field....

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-3, 50), 8:15 p.m. ET Monday (ESPN)

? Over the past four seasons, Minnesota is 3-13-1 ATS on the road against teams that entered with winning records.

? Cousins is 0-7 outright and ATS in his career on Monday Night Football. The 0-7 outright record is the worst by any quarterback in Monday Night Football history, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

? Russell Wilson is 23-8-2 ATS in his career in prime-time games, including the playoffs.

? Seattle is 9-3-2 ATS in the past two seasons when the spread is between +3 and -3. Minnesota is 1-6 ATS in those games in that span.

? Pete Carroll is 5-0 outright and 4-1 ATS against Minnesota as Seattle's head coach, including playoffs.

and as the home team they took the edge of NE settling for a FG and the Brady Int and turned it into a game winner.

Seattle could do the very same with a mistake by Cousins and non-cashing moment by the Viking early in this one.

Seattle home crowd knows what is at stake...and will be their loud selves

The bottom line...

Vikings must establish the run so Cousins can ease into that passing game .

......Wilson has to crash the Viking D..which is superior to the Seahawk running game.

So..:SIB...do..Cousin and Co. get their 24 points and play close to error free ..

Forcing Wilson to put up a 27 spot to cover on a team who allows 18 points a game.

or.........Is it Howdy Doody Cousins and it doesn't really matter..:0003

Cousins last 7 games ...18 Touchdowns ...1 Int.....:0003

Go Vikings.....

Because the Vikings are going to easily win. Minny is going to throw short and over the top all game at will. At least 5 passing touchdowns for them. This is going to force Seattle to pass more, and Minny is going to eat them up with the pass rush and blitz.

Wow, I kept thinking the same thing, why has the line not moved when everyone is pounding the Hawks? However it was that way with Rams Ravens last week. Line was fishy and scared me away until 2nd half.

Vikings fan here and this is going to be tough spot. Did Zimmer fix the coverage issues during the bye week? If they did Seattle is going to struggle on offense.

Feels like an under game to me..
