Why is the sky blue in the day and black at night?

It's all to do with the refraction of the sun light as it reaches our atmosphere.
It bends the light in such a way that only the blue spectrum can be seen.
As for the black...I woulda thought that was kinda obvious! :shrug:

Weight is a function of gravity. The question you probably wanted to ask was 'what is the mass of the Moon?'
...about 1/8 that of the Earth by the way.
