Why is this on tv??

OK. I am sitting here trying to figure out why the Jimmy Fallon show is still on the air.
The crowd doesn't even laugh at most of the jokes.
Baffles me almost as much as why the Ellen Degerese show is popular.

As for new tv shows that I wanted to be good but looked headed for doom.
I think THE FORGOTTEN starring Christian Slater is headed for a major failure. Ratings were not good in week 1 and worse in week 2. The show concept has been done too many times(see Cold Case) and is just too lame.

What show has disappointed you thus far?

never thought jimmy fallon or david spade had any talent....but think ellen is a very good standup comedienne....

Ellen always has the umm pause after EVERY freaking joke and that drives me crazy.
I find nothing more annoying than a comedian waiting for their laugh and she does it everytime.

Of all the "new shows" that I chose to watch none have been horrible. Nothing amazing but nothing bad. As for The Forgotten, it is ok.

The Cleveland Show is ok, but that show has so much to live up to coming from Family Guy. Family Guy is the funniest show ever on TV, hard to live up to that.

Also "V" looks good, I remember the old show, a classic:SIB

The Forgotten only made 6 episodes(already aired 3) and rumors are ABC has already pulled the plug on making anymore.

I think the season is over when "V" starts in its timeslot on Nov. 3rd.

I actually see next to none of these when they really air. I sit at work and download them and watch them on the computer all day.
It is always a good thing to be self employed and call your shots at your job.
Also I don't sleep much so I have nothing to do past midnight.

You can add another crap show to my list:

TRAUMA on NBC. This show is garbage X10.
The idea is not bad but come on with the black paramedic who cheats on his wife and the female paramedic who is well a whore and admits it.

I haven't got into "Late Nite" shows to much till just a few weeks ago. If I'm going to watch I always liked Jay on Monday nights for the Headlines part of the show. Think it's the funniest part of his show all week. Only been watching in the first week of him coming on with he's new show just to see what it would be like and I like that it's on a 10pm. But, Jimmy Fallon your are dead on!! Who the hell can watch that show for more then 1/2 of a episode. I can't stand to watch him, I don't even think he thinks he's funny.:shrug: If that made any sense. I think the MJ crew could get together and put on a better show after watching that Golf video a few weeks ago.:142smilie

Hands down the best late night comedy is Nancy Grace.
I find it even harder to believe people like her than I believe people like Ellen. For somebody that is supposed to know so much about law, she is blind to reality justice.
I can't believe anyone would be willing to go on that show knowing she had an opposite opinion.
I hate people that think they can just over talk you and win the argument in their mind because they out bullied you. SHE IS A MORON.
