Scouting The Offense: Wisconsin?s pro-style attack has produced at least four touchdowns in every game this season, which explains why the Badgers lead the league in scoring. After platooning John Clay and Zach Brown at tailback in non-conference play, Clay has stepped forward as the workhorse during Big Ten ball while true freshman Montee Ball made his debut last week. He could see more time in the weeks to come. Meanwhile, quarterback Scott Tolzien ranks as the Big Ten?s No. 2 pass-efficiency man (154.65 rating). Senior TE Garrett Graham (23 catches, 268 yards, four TDs) and sophomore WR Nick Toon (22 catches, 269 yards, two TDs) are Tolzien?s top targets.

Scouting The Defense: Last year, Wisconsin?s lack of depth in the front seven led to several second-half meltdowns?including a last-minute loss to Ohio State. This year, the Badgers have been determined to play more guys on the line and at linebacker. Those decisions have delivered multiple benefits. Not only do the Badgers have more quality players, they?re able to pour on the pressure down the stretch. Led by DE O?Brien Schofield, Wisconsin ranks second in the Big Ten in sacks (14) and third in tackles for loss (34). And, of course, they?ve forced a league-best 15 turnovers.

Quote To Note: ?This will be the biggest defensive line from end-to-end, most talented defensive line (that we?ve faced). We?re just going to show up, see what happens.??Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema.

STRATEGY AND PERSONNEL

This Week ?S GAME: Wisconsin at Ohio State, Oct. 10?It?s a battle of the Big Ten?s only 2-0 teams in a national prime-time telecast. What could be greater? Well, from the Badgers? perspective, they could stop letting the Buckeyes off the hook. Wisconsin led 17-10 in the third quarter at The Horseshoe in 2007 before falling 38-17. Last year at Camp Randall, Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor scored in the waning moments to give the Bucks a 20-17 win.

Keys To The Game: Wisconsin scored more points in its worst game (28 vs. Northern Illinois) than Ohio State allowed in its worst game (27 vs. Navy). Wisconsin possesses the league?s best rushing offense while Ohio State owns the league?s best rushing defense. The Buckeyes don?t throw the ball frequently or well, but the Badgers never got a handle on sophomore QB Terrelle Pryor last year. Long story short, Wisconsin?s improving lines need to play to no less than a stalemate in order to get in position for a huge road win.

Wiscy
I heard Wiscy's RB was in a boot earlier this week? If he is 90% healthy I would think Wiscy is the play.
