Why jet Fogarty for 2nd halftime gig?

But seriously........Detroit for one has no shortage of musically gifted performers.....so whats up with jetting Fogarty and his family to do a 6 minute medley? Different networks.....I'm puzzled.

Is he releasing a new album....or?

Can you help me understand why?

I think because Fogerty is from the "Bayou" there is still a push for $$$ for Hurricane Katrina recovery for the area... the Comic Relief last week was also, and the pro leagues are assisting I believe...
