Haven't witnessed this much end of the world theatrics since FLA 2000......The electoion is not over but those on the right that think it is lost, sound like their brothers and sisters on the left in 2000 & 2004...... This is just one example of where the fringes of both parties meet in the same place. Our elections are not about the American People... Our elections are about holding onto power. The radical wings of both parties and the elitist pundants that cover them for sport, have forgotten middle America/most of America. I have to admit, I became part of it in this election.... I find it nauseating... More people don't get involved because it is......

It's election week. Embarassing antics are expected by us reasonable folk from kooks on both extremes. Sad reality is that it will only get worse on wednesday, especially if McC "steals" this one;)

Hmm we've had 8 years of it --and could have 4 more--doubt you see much whining--We have way of looking for a silver lining in every "dark cloud" not visa versa. :)

I am kinda looking forward to the challege myself. ;)

Yeah, I've seen a lot of silver lining commentary from you about Barack Obama. I can only imagine how much we'll see moving forward. Good to know to expect it, though...

You haven't been reading the threads--I guarantee you my taxes will be half by 1-1-2010and be close to 0 in 3 years 3months and 10 days--and cash position in foreign money will dramatically increase--and you and the wife will be contibuting to my well being--and in my best Elvis imersonation I'dlike to say--
Thank you--thank you very much. :)

However when they raise your taxes--raise gas tax and dollar goes down-terrorist realize who UBL meant when he said "had no guts for it"
-- I'll will throw in a few--
Hope-change--yes you did.

I have heard 8 years of whining from Dingy Harry, Nancy Hezbullosi, Keith Angryman, and the rest of the leftist wackos on here to heat the country without the coal industry that barry Hussein wants to destroy

I've been reading the threads for the past couple of years, believe me...have yet to see much silver in your Obama rants...but nice to see you moving your money offshore, like the businesses and leaders you support - very patriotic of you, and very supportive of your country. Interesting you bring up the value of the dollar - perhaps YOU haven't been reading the threads of late, or studying what your leaders have done to the value of the dollar. Of all things to mention...the suppressed/depressed value of the dollar is exactly why we've paid so much in gas, and why our financial house is in such disrepair these days. And you expect the value of the dollar to go DOWN after Bush's boys are out on their ear? Interesting...I don't think many economists would agree with that, but maybe the fuzzy mathematicians would.

One last thing...I don't mind helping to pay for your well being, or others. It's part of what makes this country great. I don't spend every waking hour trying to figure out how to screw my fellow citizens and put up fences around my house. I like other people, and don't mind helping to pay for the common good. But, to each their own. Enjoy China...seems that's where you are headed, at least in your dreams.

As for UBL - seems his mission has been accomplished nicely under the Bush administration. Financial distress, spread thin military, and still alive and kicking to put out new videos...

Thank you Chad-- I don't mind paying for common good either---could have cut my taxes long time ago--but had no prob with what I paid--just depends on where its being spent--and what you define as common good.

Where I take a pass is when the common good is dictated to the dead bets at my expense.
As far as investments--one has to do what he thinks best--being as I'm the one that is/has been responsible for my retirement (being self employed most my life) I'm certainly got to do what I deem prudent.

O will be coming in as GW and Bill did in the best time (right off an economic down turn) to show an improvement--
We'll discuss--economics-inflation and interest rates --3 years from now. Not that I think Mac (if he followed through on campaign promises) would have been much better.

You just can't add to socialized spending with those programs already out there in the red and stay solvent--in is an impossibility.
The more you print the weaker the dollar becomes--there is no alternative--but there is a point of no return.
