Wont this be the "sharp" play of the week, much like Tejnnessee was last week......Washington is 7-2 ATS last 9 vs. dallas, and 4-0 ATS last 4 in Big D...Dallas is 5-11-1 ATS last 17 as home division fave, allowing 25 PPG in such circumstances.....Washington is 15-6-1 ATS last 22 as road pup, with 2 SU wins as a 6 point dog, 3 SU wins as 7 point dog and one SU win as a 10 point dog...Dallas is horrifically banged up on offense and isnt running the balleffectively at all, while Skins are running ball well and come in confident....what am I missing???????

Washington 27 Dallas 23

4-5-1 ATS last week, if I miss this one, start fading me guys...APpreciate all input

Two more notes...14 of last 19 Skins games have been decided by 6 points or less and Dallas has allowed 27 or more points in 9 of last 13 games!

Input guys...that isnt exactly input saying dallas wins by double digits...what indicates that....certainly nothing Ive seen out of Cowboys since start of 2010 would indicate they win by double digits, biskit

Where it is real F ing COLD
Not that this is right or wrong.. I think Dallas get 3 points as the favorite and so I think if the game was on a neutral field, Dallas would be laying 3 - 4.. Not that it is right but you get Dallas as America's team over valued weekly (unless they really suck), but many people thought that when they played in New York and they were impressive for about 54 minutes but still nabbed the cover.

Washington right or wrongly does not really impress anyone. I don't think many think the Giants are that good and beating Arizona at home is no task but here is why Washington gets no respect....

Grossman..

I mean it's like he was news 4 years ago. Nobody fears him, can he come in and win.. Of coarse but the public sees or hears the name Grossman and they think, "He Sucks."

Add the fact that Washington is not viewed to have a prolific offense, many people think Washington is ordinary at best. You don't think of Washington as being an offensive juggernaught, but when you think of Dallas you think they can hang 30 on a lot of teams. Moss is viewed as over the hill and many people who bet play fantasy football as well. Who starts any Redskins except Hightower?

Also add the fact that this is Dallas home opener and add that it is Monday night and you get an inflated line of 7 regardless of records...

Now what do you think the line should be? I think 4 but it is Vegas's job to try and get even amount of bets on each side. If the line was 4 everybody west of Washington DC would be on the Cowboys. At least at 7 it gives bettors some doubt. If the line was 4 Vegas could lose their ass but they could also win big as well but they do not want to gamble, they want the 10% juice..

I guess that was a rant

I don't get this line either,

I don't get this line either,

I was thinking Dallas -3, -3.5 maybe but -6.5 seems like way too much given the uncertainty of who is in and who is out. Miles definitely out. Dez who the f knows. Something isn't right there, its more than a bruise. Local station, The Fan, here said Garrett said "if it drains, he's good to go." But how effective could Dez be. He's an unbelievable talent, but always hurt. The offensive line is in shambles. Starting center Costa was injured, but damn there rolling out rookies and 2nd yr guys to protect a guy who has a f'd up lung and broken ribs. What am I missing? -6.5???
Last I checked Wash defense is clicking and going to come after Romo for sure. Kitna is not a bad backup, but he's a backup for a reason.
Cows defense is solid despite their lack of talent in the secondary. Moss kills the Cows and I got a feeling Armstrong will get behind the defense a couple times. Now Grossman has a penchant to be careless with the ball, so a cows may reap the benefit of a couple turnovers. But to me, the skins are getting the cows at a great time. No way in hell I lay 6.5.
I love Wash but as I know when I love a play I lose...May just add it to a 3 tm teaser ...gl this week

Dez is very likely to play according to Ed Warder's report out of Valley Ranch this morning.

Romo & Felix will both be playing.

Terrance Newman is also returning for this game.

So it looks as if key players missing this game for Dallas will be Miles Austin & Orlando Scandrick.

Romo is still undetermined. I know they say he will play, but a hole in your fucking lung means you're chances are slim.

(Unless they have overplayed his injury on purpose)

it was a minor puncture, but to your point - a puncture nonetheless. news is Romo thinks it cant hurt any worse than how fealt at end of gm vs SF, so in that line of thought, figures he can play through it. Some of the espn crew made a good point of it possibly bothering less in heat of game with adrenaline taking over, vs warming up at beginning of game / beforehand. I definitely see him playing - for how long is a better question.

i actually think demarco murray should be playing more a role in this one, if felix is banged up. though, i dunno how far along he is on blitz p/u, what with romo's new ailment, would be paramount (protection)

my point to why dallas being favored....i think romo really wants to exercise demons of pass for fumble before half, whence playing wash (still doesnt justify -6') - that, and i sooo dont see rex starting yr off 3-0, he'll be more his former self in this i think. 2 picks and fumble for sure.

6.5 is a lot of points. I wouldn't take Wash +6.5, but I'd also be wary of Dallas -6.5.

Perhaps a teaser would be safest play here.

Oh... Romo plays, and eats that secondary alive.

According to all reports Murray is actually the best of all 3 RBs at picking up the blitz & pass protection.

So yes I would fully agree he should be the feature back on MNF. I surely wouldnt want Felix and his seperated shoulder having to pick up a LB or S blitz, fan on it & get Romo put out for long period of time.

Bisket, why you think dbl digit win by the boys?

dallas ain't losing a monday night home game after a hurt romo lead them back from 14 pts down on the road. too much momentum on dallas' side, and wash is improved, but not 3-0 improved

I think they squeak it out, but you mentioned double digit win. Wanted to see why you felt that way or were that confident?

My thinking is 4 or so, but want to add wash into 3 tmr teaser so i have a cushion.
