Is Oregon favored by that much? These teams are pretty even... Actually Oregon St. may have a few more advantages. Plus they have the revenge factor playing in their favor... It looks too easy to take the Beavers and the points... What do y'all think?

should be alot of points scored. Tough to call, Oregon is certainly capable of blowing OSU out again, esp at home. I guess when you win by 30 on the road the previous year, its tough to not be a big fav at home. But, I think if OSU does not self destruct early, they've got a good chance to win outright. Ore has never faced Jaq Rodgers or Canfield. Rodgers was injured for that game and somehow, Canfeild has played for 4 years without playing a down against the Ducks. That could be a big for OSU. Canfeild can really pick apart a D if he gets time. He's quietly putting up some amazing passing #'s. If they can protect him, Ore's D is in for a long night stopping those 2. Then again, OSU has faced the spread alot, and not exactly shut down anyone.

So, I say gimme the over.

this game is either close with Oregon St winning, or a complete blowout by Oregon. Seems like that has been the trend the past few years

Corley - I am not taking the Ducks as a contrarian play alone - they are tough as hell to beat at home and considering this is for the Rose Bowl and PAC-10 Championship, that adds fuel to the fans.

I am not sold on Or. St. because I still remember Cincy coming in and beating up on them.

To me the only way the Beavs hang is if they put up at least 30, so having said that, I am going to hedge a little on the over.

I just cannot see how Oregon doesn't put up some offense in this one. They have scored over 40 seven times this year.

GL with whatever you do brother:mj06:

Just think, the total for tonite's game is sitting at 41 points below where last years game ended up. And, it would have been higher if OSU wasnt forced to settle for 3 total points on 2 straight drives inside the Oregon 5 in the 2nd Qtr last year.

You're not sold on Ore St b/c they lost to Cincy, who's a pretty good team IMO, like 3 months ago?

Yes, that factors in - sorry I like Oregon. Most others like Or. St. Good luck with whatever you play.

I think the line is based on public perception and is probably right. Everyone saw the first game this yr when they got smoked by Boise. I personally was intrigued by that beatdown and wondered how good Oregon really was and how they would rebound after losing their RB. I started rooting for them at that point to rebound, liked their new coach, and as they kept winning and after they pounded USC , I think publicly they have been getting played strongly. Think if vegas posted a 6.5 number they would have got hammered with a ton of oregon bets. I think the number is on the money but not sure who will cover and I believe Vegas doesn't know as well!
