Why is PGH playing on Saturday and not Sunday.They get 1 less days rest and have to travel.I think thats a big disadvantage.The Jets should be playing on Saturday.

I don't understand either. the Jets played on saturday and now play the Raiders on Sunday. the Steelers played on Sunday and now play the Titans on Saturday.But the big factor will be the injuries- Chad Scott,Kendrell Bell,Mike Logan,Kimo Von O,Kendall
Simmons, Hines Ward to name a few. So A big advantage for the Titans. These Two teams played earlier in the year and the Titans totally out muscled the Steelers and Tommy Maddux almost had his career ended.So Im sure the Titans will try to do the same thing this time around (psychical). I suggest if you are going to wager on this game take the Titans now before the lines goes up, which I think it will by the end of the week.But Us Steelers fans can take enjoyment in beating those stinking Cleveland Browns 3 times this year!!!!
And Cleveland fans once again are relying on another team to do the job they cant do and thats beat the Steelers!!!!!!

Television. NYC and Oakland/Bay Area together have a lot more people than Pittsburgh and Nashville. But mainly it's NY City they are concerned about. The networks want the highest # of viewers for the Sunday game. During the Pitt/Clev game they wouldn't commit to which game was the Saturday and which was the Sunday game. This just tells me they had already decided NY would play on Sunday no matter what. But since they could play at either Oak or Tenn, the whole thing was up in the air til that game was decided.
The league does what the TV networks want. How much rest the players get is way down their list of priorities.
