WII game advice ????

Hi Gang,

After pressure from my wife and daughter, I bought a wii game system with the wii play bundle , and the wii fit.

Are there any games that you guys recommend for the wii that are fun ??

I went to Target last night, and was more confused when I left, than when I got there.

I was a big Super Mario fan back in the Nintendo days, and a Sonic fan in the Sega days.

Always liked Madden, and MLB,................but wanted some input.

I don't like the 'shoot em up' games, so those are out.

if you like mario, the Super Mario Galaxy is a must....Zelda: Twilight Princess....

If you like racing games, MarioKart is one you need to get.

depending on how old yer kid is, Wii Music is fun for kids under 10.

If you bought the game bundle I assume that means you got Wii Sports and Wii Games. The Wii Games is worthless. It has a fishing game, a lousy tank game, a game for racing cows and a few other turds.

The Wii sports games are pretty good. It has the bowling game, which is tight. Everybody loves the bowling. It has a baseball game which is pretty good, too. The tennis is pretty fun if you have someone to play against. I didn't like the golf and I've never tried the boxing game. The games will start out pretty easy, so you can play right away. The computer players will get progressively better as you do, so the games remain challenging.

Wii fit is awesome. You can use it just to have fun or it will give you a real workout. I use it every day. It gives you constant feedback about your fitness status.

Mario Kart is pretty fun, as was suggested. Don't bother buying the game wheel if it does not come with the game. You don't need it. The wheel just holds the controller. I like holding the controller itself instead of using the wheel.

I don't have Guitar Hero, but I played it a few months ago with some friends. It was pretty fun. There is also a similar game called Rockband. I've heard it is fun, too, but can't compare them.

Wii also plays gamecube games, if you have one of those machines. My brother uses that. You have to use the gamecube controllers, though.

For the Wii... if you have to choose between Rock Band and Guitar Hero ---- go with Guitar Hero. For the wii, rock band is very limited and sucks balls when you stack it up against the Guitar Hero brand.

For PS3 and xbox and such.. rock band is probably hte better choice.

sure most here are not from my generation but if you grew up playing pinball games, the Williams Pinball Hall of Fame game is unbelievably realistic and fun to play.
