I will post all my baseball plays in this thread including MLB and any props. Right now I've only worked on college bases and will be checking out up to date over/unders for wins for '24 MLB teams.

As of today, 2 major league pitchers remain on the free-agent market, Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery who could fill in nicely with any upper tier team willing to dish out the ridiculous prices put out by their agent(s). Boras' value at getting the big deals isn't what it once was as ML execs are not giving in like they once did, economics, semantics and other factors play into contracts, which to me are outrageous anyways, I mean, who is really worth more than 4-8 million per year to play a professionial sport, any sport to make that point!? Big money, big markets, stupid decisions run rampant among all major sports, attendance is not going up in sports, the seats are sold to big corporations whom want tax write offs or to allow their employees to attend for perks/benefits of being employed, like Coca-Cola, or Pepsi, or InBev, etc., major corps which can afford season packages or exec suites, which have been discounted by MLB teams just to get butts in seats or more butts in seats!! As a former MLB Scout, I'm still old fashioned a bit, but what professional athletes are making these days is out of this world, it puts false hopes into peeps minds, agents are vultures, and fans are gluttons for the shit we see on TV, and who wants to watch games on PEACOCK or AMAZON? Probably not in Generation Baby Boomers like me any many of us who do post at MJ's, will come a day where all major sports will be pay per view, other than paying for streaming/cable packages!! If there's a demand and the supply is there, business execs will know those trends and increase the prices they demand so anyone who loves sports will pay more than premium prices with the world wide increase in sports betting through so many apps and increased Casino's around the world.

Enough of my soapbox!! Time to study MLB!! Later taters!!

2024 Over/Under Wins PROP PLAYS (all 1 unit, laying -110, CAESARS PALACE LINES)

Over 91 1/2 Baltimore Orioles - Addition of Burnes, young hitters and dependable bullpen helps

Under 93 1/2 NY Yankees - Soto can help with a few wins along with healthy Judge, their pitching SUCKS BALLS!

Under 85 1/2 Twins - losing Sonny Gray hurts some, their division is the weakest

Under 79 Guardians - no more Francona, their staff has question marks with health, so so offense even with Ramirez

Under 63 White Sox - Struggling organization from the top down, best pitcher has been on the block, but no takers

Under 74 Royals - tied up Witt Jr for a bit, but 18 wins more than last year? Where is the rest of those wins coming from? Same pitching, same offense

Over 91 1/2 Astros - New Manager, same offense, Verlander back for a whole season, Framber Valdez needs to stay healthy, Hader as closer

Under 71 1/2 Halos - Trout is not young anymore, big loss in Ohtani, what else do they have?

Under 57 1/2 Athletics - Garbage organization, had 50 wins last year with what? Now 7 1/2 more wins? Don't count on it!!

Over 88 Texas - Rangers had 90 wins last year, hot 2nd half, DeGrom will be back sometime, Scherzer helps if healthy, their offense carries them, they are in the running for Snell & Montgomery which will up their win total in Vegas should that happen with one or both added

Over 101 1/2 Braves - best offense in baseball, young pitching with decent bullpen and they beat lower tier teams, they had 104 wins last year

Over 90 Phillies - could be a three peat back to the post-season, they have the bats even with Schwarber at whatever place in the lineup, he still produces, bullpen is solid so long as they are not abused, re-upped with Nola & Wheeler, Suarez & Sanchez are quality lefty starters, closer by committee? It could work but they have to be used in key spots, Hoffman, Alvarez, Soto are all quality relievers and Strahm can eat up innings.

Under 81 Mets - new manager, little experience for Mendoza, little lineup help, you can pitch around Lindor & Alonso, Senga has had arm troubles I wouldn't count on him, their hard throwing closer has been injured more than he's been on the mound in Diaz, their farm system sucks too

Over 66 1/2 Nats - manager's back, front office is back with some changes, decent farm system, they had 71 wins somehow last year, they should get at least 68 wins with the ball park they have.

Under 77 1/2 - Screwers, small market team letting their manager and top starting pitcher go, one of their best pitchers went on the shelf and is a free-agent with no takers, Devin Williams can't close games without leads and he's not deceiving hitters like he once did, more blown opportunities from him last year and he dwindled down the last month, just don't see this club winning more than 75 games with what they have remaining

Over 82 1/2 Cincy - Reds have some young players that can ball and score, pitching is hit and miss in a shitty division, no more Joey Votto, he's done anyways even in Toronto he won't do shit, Reds will go as far as their pitching takes them and outscoring their opponents offensively.

Under 84 Cardinals - STL had 71 wins last year and yeah they got 3 pitchers, but 13 more wins from them than they had last year? League knows Sonny Gray already, Lance Lynn didn't get in shape until after his first 10 starts last year and GIbby is a finess guy, their bullpen is just so-so as well, again in a shitty division, I see Cards getting 81 wins!! Marmol is not a good manager and their GM is living in the analytical world.

Over 104 1/2 Dodgers - in a bad division where the remaining 4 teams won 84, 82,79 and 59 games, the Dodgers resigned CK, brought in a productive hitter in Ohtani, signed Japans' finest, have Beuhler back, brought in Glasnow, they have some young arms that can eat innings or start or close and this offense is something with Mookie, Freddie, Muncy and add a healthy Lux, in this division? They should win 106 or more!!

Under 60 Rockies - Rockies got only 59 last year, basically the same team, poor pitching, only a couple bats, they and Oakland vying for worse baseball record in 2024

Over 82 1/2 Giants - Giants with new Manager, added a couple bats, have some decent pitching, they had 79 wins last year with health issues and a crappy manager, San Fran should eek out 83 wins by beating lower tiered teams.
