upgraded my play on Texas to 5 units - Utah has a decent "D" but they aren't that much better overall than Texas, this is played in the Alamo Dome which has faired well for the UD in this bowl and it's not far from Austin. But what do I know? I'm shitty picking CFB this season so just hedging this way due to home state and overall schedule for both teams. Texas played LSU decent early in the year and the Ducks dismantled the Utes and I just have this as a 3-4 pt game either way. Utes don't pass much, Texas decent vs the run on "D" and turnovers about the same, schedule strength favors Texas due to the number of ranked teams.

BOL on this one!!

Think this one with question mark for Brewer the Bears QB and hype talk surrounding HC Ruhle, not a lot of "D" to be played and both teams have some crazy speed at the Receivers and RB positions. Also played and the quick turface

Upgrading like a moron here: K State +1 1/2 (5 units) - Navy schedule not very strong and they proved that by not showing up vs Notre Dame, K State did beat Oklahoma didn't they? Memphis travel spot good for both fan bases and just think scoring total may be more than the line suggests at 53.

Over 53 K St/Navy (5 units) - this could be a classic shootout

1-1 today, minus juice, a couple plays pending.

adding:

1H: Over 20 1/2 Ga/Baylor (5 units) - lots of hype of low scoring, so let's see what happens. Turnovers and field position usually dictate totals plays if offensive execution doesn't.

LSU -5 (1 unit) - LSU QB in synch w/an offense that can cause havoc for Clemson DBs and Burrow is not afraid to put his head down and go for a run w/pressure on him, LSU team "D" speed a tad better than Buckeyes imo and they'll put pressure on Lawrence often and at will and feel the DBs will give his two big WRs fits on out and up routes like they did vs OSU. LSU will take apart the UNC and OSU game films and put an attack vs Clemson, so any turnover will be crucial in this game and I like the special teams of LSU as well. I have LSU 34 CLEM 27.

I followed on that last one. Brutal loss. They hit the long pass and plenty of time, all their timeouts...down 10....1st and Goal from the 2. Incomplete pass, incomplete pass, run down to the 1/2 yard line...and then a bad snap. Horrible play calling and then the bad snap killed it.

Part of me wanted them to kick the field goal but inside the 1...I'd have gone for it too. But from the 2?? Run the ball. Hell, you can sneak it and push the damn QB these days....just Old Man Snyder it and sneak it 4 times with guys pushing him each time. I just don't understand play calling sometimes.

Off subject but when the Titans went up by 7 on the Patriots. They were most likely gonna win no matter what...but why in the hell did they go for 2?? Obviously if they get it, go up 9 and its over. But why not easily go up 8 and make them not only score a TD but then they still have to get a 2-point conversion...just to tie. Every time I turn around I'm in some kind of upside down clown world. Does the "chart" say to go for 2 when up 7?? Did he think the Pats are so good that its an automatic if they score?

I saw one team in a bowl game cut it to 9 and go for 2. Don't they realize teams can play differently with a 2-possession lead than they can with one? 8 point lead is very different from a 9 point lead, esp late in the game. But I digress. I did well in bowl season but have had a couple really bad beats in these crap bowls. I'm playing a lot smaller but it still sucks!

7 pt: LSU +2 1/2 & Over 58 1/2 (5 units) - reason above why I like LSU. Almost every paid tout is on Clemson and are all into the "Guts" Coach and Lawrence, little said about LSU's turnover margin vs opponents and how many points they turn turnovers into over the course of the year, Ohio State played Clemson tougher than experts have talked about, and Clemson won by what? A TD? Ohio State had how many FGs? Lawrence was almost knocked out but he wasn't so the thing here is LSU will show up in their backyard basically and put it to the Orange and Purple quickly and often.

1st Half: Over 32 1/2 (10 units) - I'm seeing 42 points in the 1H quite possibly and why? Both teams are grass team and now on turface and on the big stage. Coach "O" and Brady bunch and shit coordinator for LSU get little love from the "experts", but what do I know? I suck in the bowls and CFB and anything else I've capped the past month so wtf? GEAUX LSU!

Over 65 1/2 (bookmaker) - (5 units)

LSU -4 1/2 (10 units) - opening line posted here at -3? Line opened around 5 1/2 to 6 at most houses? Well certainly Vegas wants 50/50 on this game to make their vig and they will, and with a ton of Clemson money coming in and pundits split, except on ESPN, someone is going to get MOSS'D tonite and I'm backing Burrow to have a game here!! He's not Gino Torretta and definitely not DeShaun Watson, but he's got a winner's touch and Clemson relished last year vs Bama and this LSU team's "D" is a step above what Ohio St and Bama have/had this year, turnovers will be put into points quickly tonight!! LSU 38 Clemson 30!!
