I can honestly say this is the ugliest game I've seen in recent memory. Both starters look terrible, neither defense playing great (especially Boston's, who pretty much gave the M's 2 runs last inning), and now you have Francona making brilliant moves like sending Pena with nobody out and one of the biggest gascans in the league, Mateo, on the mound. Never give a team outs when they have a bad pitcher pitching. That was a huge rally killer.

how about Beltre getting picked off? who gets picked off 1st with 2 outs and a 1-2 count?

:mj07: Apparently Adrian Beltre! The best part was that the pitcher was VERY close to picking him off two times before that. He never learned!

Now it's the battle of the shitty pens. How hard is Snyder throwing? 63? 64? You know their pen is bad when they have Snyder in there late in the game when it's tied.

yea and he was sliding back to the bag feet first...what a tool

looks like theyre gona blow this game though, Donnelly is always good for giving up a run the 1st batter he faces when he comes in

Hey, hey! Lugo actually made a play! Didn't boot it and didn't throw it away! Apparently if he doesn't have to move his body to the left, right, backwards, or forwards he can make plays. :142smilie

I hate the way Manny watches his HR's he is great hitter but if any pitcher has nuts they hit him in the Coconut that crap is uncalled for I like how sheff watched his HR the other day although he kinda deserved to watch they dotted him a couple times before that....NO one has nuts anymore:shrug:

Yeah, no kidding huh IO?! :mj07: I guess we woke up the slumbering giant.

Completely agree giambi. I can't deny the guy's talent but he is such an ass. He disrespects the game in just about every way possible. I noticed that he not only walked after that HR but flipped his bat and raised his arms up. He's lucky he hit that in the 8th and not the 4th or 5th. Would have gotten drilled next time up. Then again I don't know if the M's have any pitchers that would sack up and drill him.

I don't remember the Deon thing but that's crazy. God, he needed to get plunked for about 17 different reasons!

Yeah, I stopped betting on bases a while back. In all honesty I was catching a lot of breaks and I just kind of realized that there are a lot of things that happen in baseball that are out of my control and I can't really cap. It's fun to have action on the games but it was starting to feel like the games were a toss-up so I figured I would cash out and wait until football season. Baseball and the NBA are the two most unpredictable sports to bet on in my opinion.
