Is it because they are brothers from another O should do this? Why didnt McCain push this in any of the previous presidencies. not like HE just became able to bring the bill. But yeah. if O does it, he is letting all criminals off the hook, he will be ghetto trash...then if he doesnt...he isnt looking out for the brotha.....cant win:(

Except for "far right" people,who aren't going to like him anyways, I don't think it will get much negative play. Opponents will come off as racist to most. I'm guessing the issue was only brought to McCain's attention recently. I don't always agree with him, but doubt McCain would be the type who would save something like this to make the first black President look bad. LOL
I mean we can't think every politician doesn't come up with any new ideas after his first few terms. If that was the case, Byrd would still be in the KKK, and he'd be vetoing the pardon.
