They're 13 point dogs to Michigan State.

Here are the approximate spreads for their other upcoming games based on power rankings:

This sure looks like 0-8.

It's MSU or Purdue. They can't play with the other teams in their first 8.

This is the first week that the Irish have a significant talent edge and I hope that it leads to some movement off the line.

the only way they beat Purdue is to score with them and they sure as hell can't do that. I think Purdue wins by 30+:mj07:

MSU-ND traditionally is a wacky game....anything can happen and if there is a program that is bi-polar enough to yack away even being such a big favorite it is good ole sparty.

As far as Purdue, the Irish have thumped them the last couple of years and i think Cowboy Joe is gonna show them that pay back is a bitch.......the Boilers will put up way way too many points for this offense to keep up with it.

No shot vs the Trojans, obviously, and I think that UCLA will handle them as well, despite what we saw this weekend from the Bruins.

BC game is interesting.....how many times have the Eagles upset ND, ruining a perfect season....unlikely payback perhaps from 1993 and 2002.

So, we're talking about ND going 0-8....but is 0-10 out of the question....Navy and Air Force aren't that bad....Navy was been on the verge of breaking through vs ND in recent years and the Force is much better than anyone expected.

Yea, and if they lose to Navy and Air Force bringing them to 0-10, that Duke team is on a role now and having a career season. Kidding. Perhaps 0-11 to Standford, I can't wait to watch it on NBC, I bet they will be thrilled.

Say they do go 0-8 in those games.....

then you have:

Navy
Air Force
Duke
@Stanford

Anyone see more than 2 wins in those games? I sure don't.

Navy, Air Force, and maybe even Stanford will be looking to shore up bowl bids......so while the schedule appears easier, ND might find itself going up against some fired up teams come November.
