Obviously he will play again but the PGA must be just fucking IRATE.... I hope the country's interest in PGA sags so we can get this terrible to watch sport off of ESPN coverage..

I think this whole thing is funny.. Everyone's IDOL isn't the poster role model everyone thought he was. This guy will never be respected again.

I only watch the majors and I think its funny that the model citizen role model is not who we all thought he was. He deserves no respect. Here is to hoping Elin gets half his fortune. I do think he takes 6 months off, at least until the Masters.

I suspect he will be cheered again at some point..

ask Michael Vick how loud the cheers were in Atl. this past Sunday after scoring that second TD.

reporters noted...

"Like he was their main man again"

Americans forgive just about anything about anybody outside of murder.

Hell they cheered Mike Tyson..

I'd be interested to see how this will eventually effect the purses for these tournaments. In 1995, $250,000 was the winners share for a big tournament. Tiger comes along and now tournaments with no namers in the field played in November get darn near a $1,000,000 for a win.

If his popularity diminishes say 25 or 30% do we see a giant wave of sponsors leaving the tour and purses drop drastically?

Of course, Las Vegas gambling joints aren?t in the business to give money away. They?re in business to rake it in from high rollers. One way they do so is by floating stories of how ?really good? a high roller is.

Here?s a bet?made to no one in particular?that over the years, excluding golf of course, that Tiger?s lost more than he?s won.

Fellow LV Review-Journal colleague, John L. Smith says he has a source that says that Tiger recently lost $1.2 million during a recent brief stay in Sin City.

One of Smith?s readers left a comment to the effect ?Hey, if what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, why you writing about this??

THE ONLY ANSWER from this corner: ?Hey, a man?s got to eat??

So Tiger liked gambling. What golfer doesn?t? Isn?t that a lot of the allure of golfing? Clark relates how Tiger morphed into a heavy-duty high-roller after hanging out with mega-betting Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan.

NOT exactly a pair of anti-gambling role models. But who?s looking for role models in Las Vegas anyhow?

If Tiger was hanging with Barkley and Jordan, we?re sure he?s been on the losing end of some big nights.

Norm Clark again:

About five or six years ago, I heard from a Woods friend that Woods, after losing about $300,000 at The Mansion, went to his room to get some sleep before an early-morning flight, only to return and recoup his losses and then some.

Looks like he was a winner?maybe?that particular night.
................................................................

Well I like the fact that he was a big time gambler.

Hang with Jordan and Barkley very long and see if you dont wamt tp throw down some chips.

Oh yeah he will be cheered again, as a matter of fact this just makes him more popular with a certain faction of his fans. I am sure much like vick and countless other situations in america it will cut across racial lines. As someone that has never liked him I dont have to worry about this skewing my view of him.

Some of you guys are making way too much of this. He will continue to play. If anything more people are going to be intrigued by him. Its not like he raped or killed someone. He cheated on his wife. How many married guys or gals do that? A lot. Is he scum? Yes. Will people root for him again? Yes. Hell Kobe raped some broad and hardly anyone remembers it. The most disturbing thing is if he was fucking these broads without a condom. If that is true, he is a fucking moron. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
