I am probably going to play SF pretty early, because I like the game and think it will go up. I haven't posted for a couple days because I was on a streak from hell, which I know happens in baseball. I went 7-3 in the carib contest and wagered on 3 games that all came in for some small cash. So I think the water might be safe to start posting again.

Back to the SF/Cards game. In football, which is a totally different sport, when a team travels across country like the Cards are doing they seem to always play bad or come out flat. The Cards go from St. Louis to Pitt then to SF in a matter of about a week. Simontacchi probably left earlier than the team, but the other players have to be dragging ass....Yes it is a late night game but WOW that is alot of travel and jet lag...

A few notes...

Simontacchi has given up 3 ER's in last 2 games.
Hernandez had 2 strong outings of 9 and 7.1 innings and to me seems to pitch better at home. His ERA is getting slightly better and beat Simontacchi last time they faced each other. A little caution for the BIG pitchers revenge though.

I am playing SF for sure and most likely the under also. Simontacchi does have a decent ERA of the low 3's. Maybe he holds them to 3 or 4 and the tired Cards put up a goose egg.

I would appreciate any comments on the game because after the pit of hell streak I am a little shaky in the confidence department.
