I didnt say it was just Duke it just seems every game Duke play anymore they get the benefit of all the calls............Duke depends on Williams being the man in the middle and I cant remember much if at all this season where he has been in foul trouble early or even fouled out......with all the contact he causes and get you would think at leat a few games he would have to sit because of foul trouble........its always the guys guarding him......

Shelden gets himself in foul trouble a lot. By my count, he's had at least 3 fouls in 28 games this season (and 4 or 5 fouls in 10 games). I don't think he is as good a defender as a lot of people do, but he does know how block a shot without committing a foul (been doing it since high school). One of the reasons other teams get whistled for a lot of fouls is because they are trying to stop Shelden, which is tough to do. Players guarding Tyler Hansbrough commit a lot of fouls, too. Another reason is that referees give big name schools the benefit of the doubt on close calls against lesser known programs, and to star players against unknown players. It shouldn't be that way, but it always has been, and it's not just Duke.
