Exactly. Duke does get some favorable calls, especially at home, except when they are playing another big-time program (like your USC example). Every elite program gets this kind of edge with the refs.

It says he returned to his room, there was girl in there with some of his teammates, she later left, and then came back again. Something was going on, something surely sexual, but he certainly doesn't say that this girl (who was older than Shelden and friends) was assaulted or was objecting to anything that was going on. Under your s"tandards," this makes him a rapist. Makes perfect sense.

there were several calls that went duke's way. i had no $$ on the game and actually do not like gw. but the fact is that Shelden commits off fouls on a regular basis and gets away with it. he is very overrated.imo Paulus is talented, but i am sure coach k would rather have wojo or hurley at the point(less turnovers and better decision making).

either way, gw was outclassed today, regardless of the fouls.

also, ft are deceiving, as teams that miss the front end of 1&1 don't get the 2nd shot.

duke was the better team today, but Shelden did get away with murder.
