Just came home, and my windows task bar is stuck vertically to the left of my screen. Can't seem to drag it to the bottom (horizontal) position...What am I missing? Drives me nuts with the Start buttn in the top LH corner of screen

(Win XP)

thanks in advance

thanks for the quick erply penguin...it is indeed unchecked...I can grab the inside edge and stretch it to half the screen, but can't get my mouse to the top or bottom.

Have fiddled with screen resolutions and am still fiddling

Ant other suggestions?

Oz, this happened to me once, but it was on the right side. I know you said you fixed it, but a computer literate friend of mine told me how to do it and you are on the right track.

Just put your cursor in the upper corner of the side of the screen that it is on, and "drag" it DIAGONALLY without letting go towards the opposite corner and letting go when you reach the bottom.
