I am currently having a problem with windows xp. My desktop icons are changing constantly from what the icon orginally looked like to a windows file folder. for example my recycle bin icon looks like a tarsh can of course. when i empty it it changes to a windows file icon. when i put something in the recycle bin it changes back to the trash can icon. other program icons do the same even the internet explorer icon. i cannot figure this out, if someone has had the same prob would appreciate a remedy.
