Guys, here's directions from downtown Helen, GA
(8537 South Main Street, Helen, GA)



From downtown Helen, GA

Stay on GA 75/Main Street heading North/West for about 1-1.5 miles past downtown Helen.

Your next left is GA 75 Alt N, take it.

Immediately take your next right on Chattahoochee River Rd.

Head North on Chattahoochee River Rd. You will have the river on your right for most of the way. After a mile or two the road will turn to gravel. You will pass a ranger station on your left. Stay straight...there will be an opportunity to turn right towards campsites...stay straight. After another mile or so you will see an information sign and a brown hunting cabin on your right. The road opens up to the right and there is a place to park cars. You should see my yellow Jeep Wrangler and Nick's 4-Runner. Park there.

There is a path to the left of the hunting cabin that heads down to the river. Head down (about 1/4 mile). At the bottom of the hill is the river and the campsite we are shooting for. If by chance that campsite is taken, we will head West up-river (Left, if you are facing the river).
