I am no expert like Ray & Fletcher and if they disagree with me I will not be offended. I have always followed baseball and I always will. But when I started I concentrated on one division, the N.L. east, because of my favorite team Phills and the availability of the east coast papers. I think this maybe the easiest way to start handicapping baseball, so you would not be overwhelmed at first. I also found that reading local newspapers on teams is a great way to find the overall mood of the team such as , confidence, unity, prospects, trends, etc. These reporters for the big papers are with the team day in day out, and are paid to find info that we are not privvy to. Not everybody is in the enviable position of having friends in the inner circle of Pro sports such as Fletcher. They also give useful info on the teams in the upcoming series against the local team. I also found that in many of my friends that they become extremely more knowledge of Baseball just by competing in a competitive Fantasy League.
