Ok, regular season is over. Another very good year in college hoops as I turned out +125.2 units

Now on to a whole new season, which is how I like to treat the conference tournaments and the big dance mentally although I will include the posts into my overall YEAR records with seperate records for tournament play.


Here are today's early ones:

Rhode Island -6 5 units (bought point)

Marquette -6 3 units
Virginia Tech +6.5 3 units (bought .5)

Bought the half on VTECH only because I didn't want my card to have three 6's in a row on it.....Supersticious? YEA!!!

HW, I agree theat IU got in a good bracket. Much easier than the one the Boilers are in. The Hoosiers will have a good shot at winning if Leach and Ewing stay out of foul trouble. Another important thing is if Bracey can get off to a good start shooting the ball. Seems like if he misses his first couple shots he pouts and starts pressing. I think the last few games he has really lacked in effort especially on the defensive end. Not sure who and if I will play this game yet. I think my son and I are heading down in the morning to scalp some tickets for the session.

Couldn't agree with you more Boiler....If I were in Indiana I would definately attend the tourn tomorrow. Weak conference overall this year but the tourn will be awesome with so many teams being evenly matched.

I will be attending the BIG 12 Tourn here in Dallas on Friday and the Championship on Sunday (if either Texas or Texas Tech makes it).

2-1 for +4.7 units on the afternoon.

I was very disappointed the way Marquette let TCU back in the game when they were up by 7 with just under 3 minutes left. Diener is the only true threat they had though and my hat goes off to TCU for not giving up. They played great defense and had the basketball gods on their side as they were able to drop two rainmaking floaters when they needed them......

Oh well, I really thought I was going to get the early sweep but I have to be happy with hitting the first two including the 5 unit play (plus both were games that I risked more juice buying points), and coming out on top with positive units:clap: :clap:

just made the change.....I waited to post first before putting in the play and the damn line on Duquesne went to 2.5, so instead of getting it at -1 with a point bye I am playing it at -1.5....


I have tried all day to find a reason to stay away from Notre Dame because it is such a huge public play! Mizzou's service posts was about the only thing that almost talked me out of it as I counted 8 services on them and only 1 on WVA. This is usually a good fade IMO, but I have worked a lot on this game and just don't see the collapsing in a MUST WIN for a tournament berth game. They played well in Madison Square vs. St Johns last time out (shot well). WVA will have several problems with the Irish guard play. And even with NO TORIN FRANCIS (which IMO they have adjusted very well) they will still out rebound this poor WVA team. I guess I have to play it, play it big, and hope this is just one of those cases that Vegas screwed up!!!!

Dukes should win this one easily. UMASS has been very disappointing all year.

ECU +14, come on! They play tough, hard b-ball and how many games have the Cardinals actually won by 14?????
