I can NOT believe that Peavy is opening up as a -150 fave !! He has been awful...especially in regards to his team winning his starts..... His teams (SF & BOS) are 0-12 & he, himself, over those 12 games, has an 0-10 record !!!! :facepalm: I know he is facing his old teammates and will want to show them up, but I think the extra adrenaline he'll have will only hurt him !!!
Quintana, on the other hand, has only given up 13 ER over his last 10 starts, 64.1 innings, a 1.83 ERA !!!!! Last 6 road games, 10 ER, in 39.2 innings, 2.27 ERA !!!
In addition, SF is really struggling right now, losers of 5 straight & 6 of their last 7 !!! & coming back to tie in the Bottom of the 9th Tuesday just to lose in the 10th, their spirits can't be running that high !!!!
And oh yeah..... SF has never seen Quintana !!! Only Morse has, and he is 1 for 6 with 2 K's !!
