Auburn...

Auburn...

look for a close game here as both teams like to run the ball. In the end I think Auburns run game will be too much for the Badgers d line to handle. Auburn wins 27-20.

Auburn -3 over Wisconsin

This Wisconsin team is really a fun one for us to cap as they are 2 different teams--1 when they are at home in Camp Randall (not sure what they put in the water over there, but they are a step faster, and inch taller at HOME), and one that scores 7 points in a road game at Northwestern.
Auburn on the other hand is a team that plays DEFENSE first, and uses their running game to pound out wins. Auburn does have the WORST QB in Division 1 so if you see a 21-0 deficit at halftime, call it in, and get a halftime play on Wisconsin as Jason Campbell is a mini Aaron Brooks...just add water and he melts--can't take heat whatsoever. Was in Baton Rouge to watch LSU abuse him for the 7 point OUTBURST (in garbage time again a defense smaller than me), and watched the 7 point EXPLOSION against GEORGIA 2 weeks later.
But the key to the game in conrolling line of scrimmage which Auburn does a GREAT job of. As long as they are not playing catchup, the Tigers can run Cadillac Williams, Ronny Brown, or Assumption High School's MONSTER Brandon Jacobs (this guy is dumber than pancake batter, but if someone can tie his shoes and point him toward the field for the game--he will be ALL SEC within 2 years and maybe make some national noise--this guy is AMAZING). Still remember when Jacobs came down to my old high school for playoffs and he scored a touchdown with 4 guys on him...they didn't drag him down, but hung on for dear life, and barely slowed him down, you guys gotta look out for this guy--watch the pile when he gets the ball--it ALWAYS moves back 2 yards. He only gets a few carries a game but is fun to watch.
Auburn has a Great LB corp and tough front 7 so I don't see Wisconsin's RB moving the ball on em. I don't care how good the world wants this Davis kid to be, this is AUBURN'S D...not Northwestern. Long day for the Badgers in a partisan crowd here in Tennessee as those in-bred Auburn fans (sorry guys) really get rowdy and should make this a home away from home for em.
Plainsmen...I mean Tigers err..WAR DAMN EAGLES ...PLEASE PICK A MASCOT AND STAY WITH IT should win this dogfight.
Hide the farm animals---Toomer's corner is going to rock tonight !!

Kneifl,

I have been trying to cap this game and it is a toss up. Both defenses will come to play and I never say that with WI but their defense has defenityly improved. Sorgi will get sacked often and have to hurry his throws so I lean to Auburn -1.5 FH due to field position and a defensive score.

tough to cap as well for me, but im going with the Tigers. I have seen the Badgers play a few times, and I'm not convinced they are that great. if the D, gets some pressure on Sorgi, the Tigers D will be in for a field day. He loves to toss the ball anywhere.
