WISCONSIN/MICHIGAN STATE Under 129 - These are two of the best defensive clubs in the entire nation, so I am expecting a typically low-scoring Big Ten war. Wisconsin is currently ranked 4th nationally in defense, allowing just 56.5 points per game. Since the Badgers run a deliberate offense to go with that sparkling defense, all of their games this season are averaging a combined 125.2 points, a figure that drops all the way down to 121.1 points on the road! Michigan State has stepped up their defensive intensity since the start of conference play, especially here at home where they are allowing just 60.7 points per game in Big Ten games. Finally and perhaps most importantly, the 5 head-to-head meetings between these teams since the 2000-2001 season have averaged a combined 122.2 points, with only one of those games producing more points than this posted total of 129.

Agree with you on this one, but I think it is important to note that the one time where the total did go over tonight's number was when the two teams met earlier this year.

Even worse, it was 13 or 14 points scored in the final 30 seconds to go over.....
