I'll admit, I'm a huge Bucky fan - does anyone out there think Wisconsin has a chance against Kentucky? I mean win the game, not cover the spread...

Like I said, I'm a huge fan, but I just can't come up with a scenario where they could win....

I agree with Mags...this KY team is a legitimate 10 deep and the depth comes at you in waves off the bench for Tubby. It allows the Cats to up-tempo anyone they play with their full court pressure. Cliff Hawkins and Jules Camara are good enough to start for just about anybody else.

Wisconsin will try and slow the pace to a crawl and try and repeat the success they had in 1999 when they advanced to the Final Four after ousting another athletic Wildcat team, Arizona, who was also a #1 seed. However, just ask Rick Majerus how hard it is to control tempo vs. Ky.

People keep looking for a reason to pick against Ky, but all the Cats keep doing is winning(25 in a row!) and more importantly, keep covering. Tubby's team has gone an incredible 16-3-1 ATS in their last 20!

I am sure you have seen the games for Wis. then right ?

How do you expect them to play ? Will they show up ?

Does it seem like a team that can handle the pressure of this big game on National TV ?

I am really tempted to take Wis and the points but am afraid of a twenty point win by Kentucky. If I dont take the points I am proably laying off this game. I got my money riding on Duke.

I have just these few questions is all.

Have you ever heard of betting against the obvious?

Have you ever heard of betting against the obvious?

I don't know how many times I've been blindsided by these games where the heavy favorite doesn't show up, or the dog plays out of their minds, or both. Wisky getting blown out is a strong possibility, but this sets up perfectly for KY to overlook the badgers, and get whacked. The way this tourney is going, do not be surprised if Wisky WINS! I'll have them on the ML, along with The Butler.

Wow,...16 - 3 - 1 ats in their last 20,...this team is the greatest!!! 10 deep and come at you at waves,...I know ,..these guy's are good,...I even have a small future bet on them to win it all,...and I love the way they play unselfish ball,..Wisconsin will have no chance if the fall behind by 10 cause they dont score much,...I'm taking :

Bucky the Badger +6.5 1st half

Bucky the Badger +12

If the Badgers win I'll be going to the (hopefully) all-Wisconsin Elite 8 game between Wisconsin and Marquette on Saturday in Minneapolis.

That being said, I have a hard time seeing Wisconsin win. But they did win their last game with hardly any help from their best shooter, Penney. If their players can show up on the offensive end, I could easily see the Badgers covering this one.

I am sure you have seen the games for Wis. then right ?

YES - MOST GAMES

How do you expect them to play ? Will they show up ?

I THINK THEY WILL PLAY WELL - AND SHOW UP - BUT I'M AFRAID IT WON'T BE ENOUGH

Does it seem like a team that can handle the pressure of this big game on National TV ?

BEING A BIG 10 TEAM, THEY HAVE PLAYED A LOT OF BIG GAMES - WON 2 STRAIGHT CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS - KIRK PENNEY WAS ON THE FINAL FOUR TEAM IN 2000, SO HE IS USED TO THE SPOTLIGHT.....

KY PLAYS MAN DEFENSE - WHICH RYAN'S SWING OFFENSE SETS UP WELL AGAINST - BADGERS STRUGGLE VERSUS A ZONE...

THIS ISN'T THE 2000 BADGERS - THEY CAN SCORE - BUT PLAY A SLOW DOWN TEMPO WHEN NOT AT HOME - THEIR BIGGEST PROBLEM IS SIZE AND DEPTH - ESTELL WILL GIVE THEM REAL PROBLEMS - AS WILL THEIR LACK OF DEPTH.

THEY ARE A LOW TURNOVER TEAM - ALL 5 GUYS CAN HANDLE THE BALL, SO THAT WILL HELP. BUT I JUST CAN'T SEE THEM WINNING - BUT I WILL HOPE.

No, the CAPS didn't mean I was SHOUTING - it was just to separate my responses from Scott of Atlanta's questions...

;)

I do not expect the Badgers to win but do expect the public to be all over Kentucky,...think I can at least split between the 1st half bet and the game bet,...it could be a low scorring game so 12 is alot of lumber

WISC. WON'T BE ABLE TO SLOW GAME IF THEY GET DOWN 10 TO 15 PTS. NEED TO KEEP GAME IN SIGHT EARLY TO HAVE A CHANCE. MIGHT BE GOOD SPOT FOR WISC. TO COVER. PUBLIC ALL OVER CATS. BUST YOUR LOCAL. LINE WILL GO UP. GOOD LUCK AL.

Im watching that O/U close. It is 130 now. I see about 120 to 124 in this game. See no over unless overtime. Since it looks like a 66 to 55 Kenty win I cant see that happening. I may just go under.
