I thought from the game the other night and a few others concerning the Cowboys that Julius Jones just doesn't energize the team or give the offense any pop, and considering what Marion" the Barbarian" is doing and has done I was thinking would it be a "good" time to demote JJ and go full spedd ahead with Marion. There's Tyson Thompson in as the understudy and use JJ to get a little help elsewheres. TAMPA BAY IS DESPERATE FOR A RUNNING BACK AND I WOULD THINK WANTS TO KEEP THEMSELVES I POSITION BEFORE IT ALL FALLS APART. Only problem I see would be is this gonna cause a disturbance in the locker room or on the field. I also thought that the Eagles should use this opportunity to ship McNabb out thrust the young Kolb into position, as the season is in limbo and it be sad to WASTE this opportunity that may be best for all, isnt Andy Ried having problems at the home also? I dont project them to go too far or do too much this season, they are decimated by injuries and just not AS GOOD as they were years past. Any thoughts or comments....there's a few others and if you have a scenario or situation please feel free to post.

I dont think Dallas will be shipping JJ anywhere. Why mess with what is working.

What if Barber gets hurt. You dont want to rely on Tyson Thompson. He isnt ready.

I wish it were like baseball's deadline........little bit later, little more flexibility in diverting monies around. Just a different game w/a cap. You have to move contracts like the NBA (if I'm not mistaken) and there's no real time window to negotiate, its too early in the season for some teams to just bag it and play for future, and draft picks are like gold anymore what with the attrition inherent in the sport. Even TB, staring a winnable division in the face w/Earnest Graham?!?!? leading the running game, isn't going to mortgage a first day pick for a RB, even of JJ's quality, for example. What would Michael Turner be worth (were he available)? 1st & 4th rounder? Viable starter and a 2nd rd?? Who knows, but cost prohibitive, and you don't see alot of riverboat gamblers running NFL teams. Too bad. The player turnover seems to be a fertile environment for exciting mid-season player movements.
