Utah vs. Dallas
Both teams played last night,but only one team put energy into their game. Dallas played at San Antonio in a spotlight game that always gets the best out of both teams.The Mavs wanted that game after losing the two previous meetings this year.But after three quarters,they found themselves down by 10. Dallas played a monster fourth quarter in out-scoring the Spurs 42-23 to snag a misleading 9-point win. The Mavs exerted a ton of energy in that comeback, and that will leave them empty in this game tonight. Utah was playing a home-and-home set with Memphis last night.The Jazz waxed the Grizzlies by 23 points in the first game so with such a quick turnaround, Utah was going to get Memphis? best shot while the Jazz figured to come in relaxed. And that?s exactly what happened as Utah shot just 39.8% from the field in a 2-point loss. But i expect a focused Jazz team tonight as they catch a fat and happy Dallas team ripe for the picking.
