Oh yeah...:00hour

Now, I've taken these over the last 4-5 weeks...

Cinci -2.5

Almost embarrased to have it!..but funnily enough getting nervous.
I like the way the Cinci D shapes up, 12th overall last year...gave up just 3.6 ypc pre-season (yeah, yeah, I know...)...
...was the best ground team (pre-season...yeah, yeah, I know!)...Palmer (Carson that is) "healthy"...
Denver were screwed long before Orton hurt his finger. Their road D sucked bigtime last year...mild improvements with old players...
...Like I said, the amount of action actually makes me nervous, but I like Cinci, don't like Denver, and got "lucky" getting under a FG. :mj06:

Balti v. KC under 37.5

Not sure how KC score...(again before a [good lord] "key" injury! :nono: )
The good thing about the Chiefs has been their pre-season D, the League's best @ 3.1ypc...not one run over 20 yards (yeah, yeah, I know!)...so Balti are unlikely to get those "accidental" late rushing TD's when running out the clock.

Washington @ NYG under 39

Hell, take the under 37.5 at the same price! :mj06:
Took it early based on the Redskins' offensive woes...as it happens they look kinda ok...but the Gints are definately run first, lacking bigtime receivers.
Last years metting's went 23 and 30...tough to see either team flinging it out successfully.

NE v. Buff under 48

Buffalo starters still haven't scored a TD...I know TO will stretch defenses, but still...48 looks a lot of points! [it is, in fact, the highest set total between these two teams I can be bothered looking for!...going back to 1989.]
The teams have combined for this many points just 1 time in their last 24 meetings! (1996)...when NE went into Buff (2007) and racked up 56 on their own!
But, Brady definately not 100%...may or may not have an injured shoulder...
...either way, they ain't gunna risk him ala 2007...up lots early?...let's run the ball people...

Indi v. Jax under 45

Been watching this number rise, now I think it's a bit too high.
Bit concerned about Indi's lack of productivity in pre-season...first team offense put up just 14 points thru 3.5 quarters @ Det in week 3.
Pre-season (I still know!), but there does seem to be some correlation between the two for Indi...
...going back 5 years, 30 points in week 3; 24, 34, 45 first 3 weeks.
24 in 2005, 24, 10, 13 first 3 real ones.
27 in 2006, 26, 43, 21...
37 in 2007, 41, 22, 30...
No Manning in pre-season last year, but 7 in week 3; then 13, 18, 21...
1) No Harrison might just hurt more than they think;
2) Detroit ran 72 plays to just 48 in that game...which is exactly what the Jags will try to do. [They had 70-48 in the meeting @ Indi last year.]
Not sure Jax will have the ground game all their own way tho...just 3.1 ypc leading in to this game, J-D not 100%, and was actually worse than the av. going just 29/10 in the 4 games.

'Zona v. SF under 46

Kinda missed the boat on this one, but I always like seeing an AR system in my corner! :00hour
Same deal really...SF pound away and keep the Cards off the field.
A lot of their pre-season points came from the back-ups...at HT in the 4 games they were 9, 3, 3, 7.
Warner didn't look good at all...Boldin ??, Breaston not 100%...
