— Monday is Memorial Day, a national holiday, but there are only 13 major league games, so four teams have a national holiday off. You’d think that attendance would be better on a holiday but the schedule makers have a different idea.
Plus, Toronto is playing at home, even though Memorial Day isn’t a holiday in Canada.

Cubs have already had two ten-game winning streaks this season; now, they have an 8-game losing streak.
Christian Walker hit a three-run homer for the Astros.
Houston has won four of its last five games.

Heriberto Hernandez hit a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning.
It was the first walk-off grand slam in the major leagues since 2013.
Mets got swept in Miami, going 11-88 at the plate, scoring 2 runs in the three games.
