Ashley Judd is the woman, Tommy Lee Jones is her parole officer, Bruce Greenwood is the grifter husband, Roma Maffia is a woman in jail who advises the woman on the best way to get paroled. Movie is a little intense, but it is very good.

Movie of the Day: A Few Good Men (1992)- A military lawyer intends to prove that two US Marines charged with murdering a fellow Marine were only following their base commander’s orders.
Tom Cruise is the lawyer, Kevin Pollak/Demi Moore are lawyers helping him on the case. Kevin Bacon is the opposing lawyer; Kiefer Sutherland, JT Walsh, Noah Wyle, Joshua Molina are also in this epic cast, but the biggest star is Jack Nicholson, who plays Colonel Jessup- his testimony on the witness stand is one of the best scenes in movie history.
Aaron Sorkin wrote the film, Rob Reiner directed it. An excellent movie.
