Well, its almost embarassing to be here. After laying a big egg last night, I decided to look at the Detroit game, after deciding on Detroit with the 7, I changed my mind at the last minute. So instead of taking my 1-3 day like a man, I pushed another game down the drain.

Well the bad news is 1-4 on the day yesterday. Not great, but it could be worse. Thanks to superbook and 2 overtimes, I played the over in the NY game. Didnt post it here, so I drop to 8-5 on the year. Not great, but a 62% clip isnt the end of the world.

Matchups today:
Washington at Cleveland
Seattle at Phoenix

Leans:
Washington - now 6-0 ATS.

---over. Still like the over. Wash away+Clev Home avg. 150 pts. Washington is still an offensive team. Hoping the low scoring game last night moves the over back down to the 135 range.

Phoenix

Back when the lines open. Going to put in more time today so we can right this ship.

Is something amiss? Washington +4? Can find nothing in the Post or wnba.com about injuries or anything. Cautiously right now taking:

Washington +4
Washington s/u +150
OVER 137

Washington did just play last night, but they are a wide open team. Going to continue to play overs.

Will look into this more and see whats up with the line. Four points seems like a gift, but I want to be sure.

Well, I'm done with the research. Havent found a whisper about injuries. Going with those three plays and pulling out the rarely used teaser to mix it up for luck.

Adding

Washington +7 / Over 133.5

Phil -- sorry, just got out of work couldn't post earlier.

IMO the line is low because Rushia Brown and Ann Wauters back for CLE tonite: #2 and #4 in FG% in the league last year.

Power forward Brown missed first four games with a broken little finger.

Center Wauters has been in Europe resting since her French league ended last week.

Brown is activated, will she start or play sigificantly? I don't know. She's tough on D and one reason Rockers had best D in the league last season.

Wauters had to pass a team physical this afternoon. What kind of shape is she in? I don't know.

WA could suffer a letdown here after spending a week preparing for last night's game vs HOU.

FWIW, I got WA Over 132 but I'm took the middle at WA Under 138.5. If it looks too good to be true it probably is.

I'll play the game at the half.

Washington up 15 with 15 minutes left in the second half.

Going to miss the over I think, unless Washington can pout it on.

took SEA/PHX O70.5 in the 2H

man you have to be quick on the 2H lines when you see a good one. I hope they play the 2H like the FH. 880/800

You're right you've got to be quick.

Where do you make your second half plays?

I can only find Oly which has a 300 limit for 2H totals.

Jon,

You can call them and place a wager over the phone. Usually, they let me do 500 even though I've already done 300 on the internet. Last night, I got lucky and was able to do a phone wager and an online before the line moved. Usually, I'll do it online, and by the time they pick up the phone, the line has moved. If its a strong enough play, I usually go ahead and place the phone wager as well.

Good luck. I'm working a long day today, so won't be around for the games.

That's good info. I'll have to start picking up the phone. Thanks.

FWIW I also noticed a couple of books are now offering overnights on WNBA.
