FWIW this is what I played:

Utah +9

Utah and LA are very similar teams, both have great offenses with weak D's. The Sparks beat up SAC after losing to Houston at home. The Starzz are playing a back-to-back, but DET shouldn't be a look-ahead. Utah ranks #2 in rebounding behind LA. UT's Dydek seems to be playing at a higher level. No National TV for LA to show off on. LA home court advantage ranked only #10. I'm not sure why Utah is getting 9 here, but if it looks too good to be true it usually is!!!

I haven't seen a Total on this game, but I have it capped at Over 150.

Maybe I'm overthinking this one: HOU just beat UT by 11 and HOU just beat LA by 2. Is that where they get the 9?

If so, that's wrong because Utah played Houston without Dydek who sat out that game with a suspension.

If Utah opens at Olympic at 8 or less then I'm on the right side.

BEST BET: MIA/SEA Over 131

With MIA starting Pollyanna Johns Kimbrough over Ruth Riley at Center makes them a more offensive team. Riley has had her cast on her pinky downsized which also makes her a greater offensive threat off the bench.

SEA is playing well, I have this game capped in the 140s.

No way LA keeps that up: 54% from the field and 70% (7-10) from the arc. C'mon.

Pretty amazing that Utah is within 12 with that kind of shooting.

Four key LA players including Leslie have 3 fouls which should hurt them in the second half. Dydek has 0 PFs.

FWIW I played Utah PK +105 for the second half.

Almost went Over 148 in the first half. LOL.

Any early thoughts for tomorrow?

Well, down 12 at halftime. Looks like LA's percentage is coming back to reality. Go Utah in the second half!

What a craptastic game this is turning out to be.

No real looks yet for tomorrow, will be eyeing Washington and the Utah game.

Spent the last 4 days apartment shopping so I am pretty wiped. Finally got one we liked at what could be the mortgage on a $450,000 home. No joke. Alas, such is life in Washington DC. 480 sqft outdoor patio on the 8th floor though overlooking the city, should make for some nice NFL watching in the Fall.

I sympathize with your search but in terms of real estate you're singing to the choir. Manhattan is probably even worse than DC. I thought I made a big mistake when I bought a 2 bedroom in '98 for 525, but now it's worth 900+.

It looks ugly for Utah but don't give up yet. Plenty of time and Leslie has four personals.

I hear you. We couldnt buy anything in the city, mostly bc it isnt worth saving the down payment right now. Just as an insight though, a 1220sqft apt with 480ft patio on the 8th floor with a view runs $2800/mo. What a waste.

Speaking of a waste, this Utah game is a waste. Looks like my 3rd 1-1 day in a row.
