Phew big card today, going to try to put a pad on the 48-26. Just checking out the lineup now.

Will be back in a bit with some looks once I get to the office. Im checking out something right now, but having not seen the lines, Im not sure how it looks. Good card though, could be some nice chances for us today.

Nice hit on the over last night sb!

Lets get right to it:

Mia/Pho UNDER UNDER 132 20 points off the line I see
Phoenix +3
Washington +3
Wash/Minn OVER 128 Claw is out, but the team can score and so can Minn
Hou/Utah UNDER 130
Portland +9 too many points for surging .500 team

Looks like the easy money has been made in WNBA. The lines are getting sharper every day. I'm glad to see that Ace and I are on the same page:

BEST BET: Houston/Utah Under 130.5

These two teams just played last Friday at Houston and the Comets got an easy 73-57 victory (note that 73+57=130)

Since that game, HOU beat the Sparks in LA by 60-58 for their 7th consecutive win and Utah travelled to CLE to beat the Rockers 79-62.

In the game vs CLE, Utah's 7'2" center Margo Dydek elbowed Ann Wauters in the head and after the game she was given a one game suspension. She won't play tonight which is a big blow for Utah; in the last game vs HOU, Dydek scored only 9 points but she accounted for nearly half (16) of Utah's 33 rebounds. For the season, she's averaging 12.7 ppg and 9.8 rpg.

HOU has the #1 D in the league; they held Utah to just 57 last week and contained the top offensive team in the league, LA, to only 58 in their last game. Without Dydek, Utah will get very few second chances and IMO they'll be lucky to score 50 tonight.

On the other hand, Hou has the #14 O in the league (out of 16). Sheryl Swoopes is playing great, averaging 21.8 ppg in her L5. But the Comets don't score a lot of points, averaging just 62 ppg in their 8 road games this season. In their 15 games this season, their highest output was 78 and they average 63.5 ppg while their opponents average 58.8.

Predicted Score:

Houston 59 Utah 49
