I loved both movies but to my surprise I would have to vote American Hustle as the superior movie.

Wolf of Wall Street seemed to lose its focus in the last 45 minutes.

Wife and I are going to the theatre today, she wants to see Wolf of Wall Street, so......I will have to wait to see American Hustle :lol:

I saw both and thought they were equally great; excellent acting, story lines, and kept you intrigued. Wolf on Wall Street was a bit more raunchy: lots of drugs, nudity and language (which is my kinda movie) and American Hustle was a little more calm. I'd see them both again :0074

138 minutes and the movie comes up short of expectations

assembled talent given these characters to play quite simply didn't have enough screen time nor dialogue to really get to the essense of each..We are given an unacceptable bio within the many scenes of the movie tying in the hustle....and it simple comes up short.

This film laid on the screen...showed glimpse of jumping off and then fell back..

I will watch it again..for the cast..and the costumes..

Really? Thought it was incredible, based on a true story as well. My favorite movie so far this year, barely edges out Wolf in my opinion. Great movie.
