Very interesting games: I don't have a great feel for the totals as I see them pretty tight. I will defer to Hawk for that.
Georgia +10.5: I know that Georgia lost their top scorer and they have lost b2b since then. I am really playing on the Georgia defense and the fact that South Carolina now has the biggest game of their life on deck vs UCONN. Everyone is talking about South Carolina being the best team yadda yadd.. Here comes UCONN. South Carolina is the best team to win NOTHING. Dawn Staley knows it and so does her team. The game vs UCONN is so important to this SC team and if anyone says differently they are FOS. Georgia is a defensive team and this will be a sloppy game. I believe GA can execute on just enough plays to keep us in this. I would be mildly surprised if GA wins SU but I would give them a 25% chance.
LSU -3.5: Since Ballard has come back LSU has won 4 of 5. They are a different team. Auburn plays this annoying pressure defense and it will make this game a little choppy. Auburn is inept on offense. BIAS ALERT** I really like this LSU team so my eyes may be a little clouded.
Minnesota +1.5: I know Minnesota is struggling- But they have, arguably, the best scorer in women's basketball Zahui. Gophers were embarassed last time out and I believe they will circle the wagons and handle an Illinois team who is winless in the Big 10. MInnesota has senior leadership and one of those seniors is a transfer who has never been to the NCAA tourney. She knows they must get back to winning.
