I would have loved to be there.

1. To see Joe Cocker sing With a little help from my friends. That song at Woodstock was IMO one of the greatest ever.

2. Anything Jimi Hendrix. Especially Star Spangled Banner. That had to send people on quite a trip for the 4 minutes he played it. I can't imagine what everyone who had just dropped were going thru. Event hough it was just 4 minutes he took them on a wild ride.

You guys recall a band named Country Joe and the Fish? My father-in-law filled in as their drummer periodically around the Woodstock years but did not play with them at Woodstock.

Their Vietnam Anthem was classic..

When I was awaiting transport to Nam every morning at muster, a nearby window would mysteriously open an that song would blair...."Whopee, were all going to die"
