On the course!
This game is like the NBA. You can miss almost all of it. If you just watch the 'stoppage time', you will be fine.

I liked how the guy doing the biting flopped along with the guy he bit! :mj07:

To be fair to Luis Suarez, I can?t resist an Italian sub either.

Italian Heritage Night at AT&T tonight. Heard Suarez will be here to meet flavor of the evening.
Henry Schulman ‏@hankschulman

Ladbrokes reacted to the incident by making Suarez 8-13 to leave Liverpool this summer ? he is 6-5 to stay at Anfield.
Hills made Suarez 1-4 to be banned for at least one match and he is 11-4 to escape suspension.

Man wins $5,600 on bet that Luis Suarez would bite opponent

By Jimmy Traina

Not everyone was mad at Luis Suarez for biting Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay?s World Cup match against Italy on Tuesday.

One Norwegian man won $5,600 thanks to Suarez?s habit of sinking his teeth into his opponents.

According to Afterposten, Norway?s largest newspaper, Thomas Syversen took a chance on the 175-to-1 odds that Suarez would bite someone during the match.

?This is probably the sickest game I?ve handed in, not to mention the sickest game I?ve won,? Syversen told Afterposten (the quote was then translated).

Sick, indeed.

The bonus was a days pay for yaya toure, two days pay for kolo toure and drogba and three days pay for bony.....and it was a promise from an African football federation which is as worthless as . . . . . Whatever it is in life you think is worthless.

Smashing match day

Interesting......thought it was funny people were basing a play on this not the actual players/teams or assessment of games played.....

I assure you, it felt much better to lose based on the actual players/teams than on that

Haven't seen Ivory Coast play and found it odd some would suggest a play based on that info of a "Bonus" to win.....My first thought was, bang the other side...LOL....Do your job and win, period....

Game 1) Columbia vs Ivory Coast:

Columbia's only chance is to get IC baked before the game.....IC jumps early and often and wins 2-Nil

Game 2) Uruguay vs England:

Uru plays tough "D" until the 27th min then the boys across the bay pour it on and win 3-Nil

Game 3) Japan vs Greece:

The night cap should be the most entertaining game of the day as they race up and down the field and play to a Nil-Nil tie......

Very exciting day for you Cup Fans......:0003

Thanks I totally missed parts of the games, I cant believe no one scored in the Japan Vs. Greece game. What'd you think about the US Vs. Germany Game?

"the bunker"
There are definitely elements of the rules that I find maddening. Today's events have been a good example.

at least in hockey theres a time element involved....in soccer, the ref says f.u. to a team and they`re basically f`ed for the entire match........in something as big as the world cup, that`s way too much arbitrary power to give officials...

now they go into o.t. and they`re still down a man?....c`mon...that`s insane
