You deserved to lose Wormy, shouting as loud as you did. You need TONE it down a bit. Hated to see any body lose this much money, but someone came on here the other day and said that if you ever had a game of the year, then they would throw down big on it. Any seasoned gambler knows money management and knows how to control ones bankroll. Everyone would've been kissing his earthy azzz if he would've won. We all are in control of our wagers. The pissed off ones must have bet their kid's college education on this game. Sorry you lost worm...Betting big either puts you in the penthouse sipping champagne or in the poorhouse guzzling Mad Dog 20/20. I followed you with the Pacers and of course lost, but I have no ill will towards you. Best of luck recovering on this one...

another lesson learned firsthand here at madjacks....good advice edludes, [excellent advice that we all should follow] i dont think u were TELLING mr. worm how to bet just making a good-suggestion....

I have a "point" system that I use for every game I bet-there are 21 points I look- at for a hoops game-there was 18 "points for taking INdy today-the most for any game since the start of the regular season-thus the game of the year sign.
I lost-my record the past month or so speaks for itself- I really appreciate all those who follow me-

All in all, u did a FINE job. I am a FIRM believer in money management, and I believe you are too. Most people don't realize, id you have been doing this a VERY long time like you say you have, and I believe you have. Then This particular LOSS wasn't really that hard to swallow, in terms of the $$$. Especially
when you use a 21 POINT system. There are a few games in an entire season that good cappers need to take a STAND on. This one is probably the GAME that u chose. Obviously it didn't come in, but I bet you if you faced this situation (18 out of 21) six times in an entire season, you would hit it 75% of the time. Another way of saying, " I'd bet this game exactly the same way if it came up again 100 times". Meaning that there was STRENGTH in the numbers in terms of (18 out of 21). It is ALL about money management, and DISAPLINE, there is NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.!!!
Obviously, if a person has only done this a SHORT while and accumilated (lets say, 3 thousand dollars) betting 10 games to the good. Now, it would be VERY UNWISE for that person who has done this a very short time, to put down 66% or 2 thousand dollars on one game. But obviously to some people that's the first thing they think about is "YOU lost this BIG game". and you bet 2 thirds of your bankroll. yeah, maybe 2 thirds of your bank roll 10 years ago, but NOT certainly today.!!! I'm SORRY I went on a rampage here, but I'm hoping that you take this with a grain of salt, and realize that you WILL NOT keep everyone in this forum HAPPY. And to pick yourself up off the floor and dust off, because
TOMORROW is certainly another day, ESPECIALLY when you do know a little something about disapline and money management, and I believe you do...................................Doc.
