So. Cal
Face it AT LEAST 25% of the games are determined by PURE LUCK (usually more in football)...nothing else. This game was one of them and you happened to win.

Put it this way, faced with the following scenario which way would you wager your mortgage on???

4.6 seconds left Team A trails by 3 with possession..they are getting 2 points.

Team A misses and loses by 3 failing to cover
Team A ties the game and it goes into OT, either team can win/cover
Team A misses a 3 pointer and hits a 15ft. with .3 left..losing the game outright but covering

I guarantee you being the gambling expert that you claim to be there is NO WAY IN HELL option 3 would ever be chosen. It was pure luck.

Hey nickel-there no such thing as luck--unless you make your own

Worm,

Not sure how you can make your own luck watching a game on TV, but if that's how you get it done, then I want some of your magic!

You are one of the lucky few. . . no question Vegas made out like a bandit tonight. Several books had the Spurs ML at +125 and even higher. . . I'm sure several decided to forgo the two points and are pissed about it now.

If you understand anything-you know that just because a play happens with .03 seconds does not mean it is any more important, lucky or crucial than a play with 10 minutes to go in the first half

LOL. :p By your logic then, it didn't matter if Tim Duncan made that shot within the last second of the game vs. if he made a fadeaway with 10 minutes to go in the 1H. Dude, you just beat the spread by 1 point! Congrats on the win (a win is a win), but let's get real! :D The best play of this game was the under.

MR 100%

MR 100%

Congrats, you won your bet and got the adrenaline rush of your life if you did indeed bet your whole account on that game. The winning picks you post means you are a good techincal handicapper. What does your moneymanagement style mean? What will it take next time to give you the excitement level you need? We've all watched you increase the size of your bets progressively since you've joined the forum. The need to make progressively larger bets to get off is a common sign of compulsive gambling. The moneymanagement "style" you use has put many men before you in the poor house. Now you are encouraging others to do it,too. You've got to be mr one hundred percent from now on on those drain the account plays.A word to the wiseguy.

I usually do not let personal facts about myself out to others-but since I am being questioned via email as well as this forum let me explain my money "handling" when it comes to making bets.....

I do not start with x amount of money and then try to play that amount over a course of a year or season etc--My money pool is ever growing form. I am "wealthy" personal investor with four different successful businesses as well as a real estate holder-I never bet over my means-I always keep track of what I bet-down to the penny-and I have been ahead of the game for years-I make bets between $100-$10,000 dollars, I have wagered over that a few times in my life (maybe 5-6 times)...If I were to go 0-12 on $2500 bets it would not come close to hurting me...I know the value of money as I am a self made man-I come from a professional family, but after I got my MBA-I was out on my own at 24 with some cash and knowledge and in just a few years could retire comfortably for life...If any one needs any more info just e-mail me or ask for my e-mail I will be glad to talk:) :D  good luck to everyone
