There are few situations in life that strip your heart of feeling more than paying for a movie (or DVD) and watching it realizing your kids high school drama club could provide better entertainment.

Please share with the fellow Madjackers The Worst Movie you have ever paid for.

The Bit Hit Starring Marky Mark and Lou Diamond Phillips

Horrid. A half-wit comedic performance about well nothing. Marky's love interest Christina Applegate was dumb and dimwitted. Too much action and not enough plot leaves one with an ehhh, ummm ughhh feeling.

Hannibal

Probably because The Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorite all time movies and I was greatly anticipating seeing this only to realize it sucked balls.

Thankfully, Red Dragon was great as the 3rd installment.

I also had a hard time sitting through The Matrix which I had heard so many great things about. I thought it sucked.

"I am DE LAW!" LMAO! Yeah, most Stallone movies of the mid 80s to early 90s were terrible.

the worst movie i saw starred kurt russell & kevin costner where they & a few of their cohorts dressed as elvis presley & robbed a hotel in vegas. it was bloody & boring. i think it was called "going back to graceland?", but not sure.

Fargo

I bought it without seeing it on a friend's advice that it was one of the "best movies ever", and I'd see The Big Lebowski and loved it and knew it was by the same guys. And I hardly even laughed. I realize some people think this is a wonderful movie, but while it wasn't the absolute worst movie I'd ever seen, the expectations that I had going into it made it a complete, bland disappointment.

Almost Heroes with Matthew Perry and Chris Farley (absolutely incredible how this movie got green-lighted.)

Scary Movie 2 (actually didn't mind the first one, but the sequel was atrocious)

always wanted to see this movie. i think it was greenlighted because perry(friernds) & farley(snl) were on popular tv shows. but then again how many times did actors on hit shows translate into starring in good movies? not too many.

bjfiniste,

sorry you didn't care for fargo. it was a great movie. the woodchipper scene was a classic. it was a sarcastic look on how gross killing scenes can be in movies.

By far the worst movie I ever saw in a theatre was Desperate Measures with Andy Garcia and Michael Keaton. I wanted to kill both these idiots for ruining their careers with this movie.

AR, i'm telling you buddy, Almost Heroes is nothing like those other SNL/TV grad movies that most people consider horrible. That thing is in a class by itself. Seriously, you should check it out to see what I mean. The 'set' was literally no better than a high school play, and that's no exaggeration. And don't get me started on the so-called story or the dialogue.

I thought Fargo was fantastic also.
