i had my old edger and blower break in the same week. Any1 have any input about WORX or WORX gt products? i figure the cost of an new edger, and blower(decent one) will be more than their combo package they are offering.

I know the WORX is run on batteries, so i assume the power isn't what it is with gas or corded garden accessories. would just like to hear if it is a sucker deal or really a decent product thanks.

I am needing the same thing, blower will not start and need trimmer too but I don't think I will go for the batter powered items.

i have the electric worx blower-vac/mulcher....it actually works pretty good for dry leaves...

flip a switch and it goes from blower to lawn vac...mulches the leaves into a bag....

problem with me is we have a "cigar" tree that sheds long,sharp fronds in fall and that gums up the mulcher...so i end up having to rake all those s.o.b.`s up anyway....

but i would recommend the elctric blower vac to guys with back issues...cuts down on repetitive bending....wish i could find it in a gas model...

I'm borrowing my brother in laws edger/weed whacker right now and it works great as long as battery is charged of course. Just wish they made tougher line. Go through a shitload of that stuff when trimming around my stonework.
